Judy,
The suggestions here were;
milk cartons...newspaper folded into tents..I think they called them HUD
homes (hosta under der).
If you have the walls of water for tomato plants those will work.
Some have thrown mulch over starting plants.
Plastic sheets might work...blankets Etc.
but the next flush of leaves will look better...
