My wife read in yesterday's paper that the Rodney King event happened 10 years
ago. I could not believe that she could have been telling me the truth. I
could have believed 5 years, but 10?
The old clock ticks pretty fast and sooner or later, we're all going to meet
that great Hosta gardener in the sky. First thing I'm going to do when I get
there is ask him how he (or she?) ever came up with the ingenious plan for
DNA. That took some real brains.
As for being old, Marvin, one of my great Aunt's lived to be 107. So making
100 seems a lot more doable now-a-days... especially if you climb up and down
your Hosta Hill often enough!
