I looked through this document again, Paul, and I see lots of info
on
TITLE I: WIPO TREATIES IMPLEMENTATION
TITLE II: ONLINE SERVICE PROVIDER LIABILITY
TITLE III: COMPUTER MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR COPYRIGHT EXEMPTION
TITLE IV: MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
TITLE V: PROTECTION OF CERTAIN ORIGINAL DESIGNS
http://www.arl.org/info/frn/copy/band.html
Looks fairly encompassing to me but I'm going to leave the interpretation to others and just plan to ask permission prior to use of any suspected copyrighted materials. And, anything that I post at my web site, or post as an OSP or ISP, should include a copyright notice if the owner would like to be entitled to protection. Otherwise, it appears that alleged copyright infringements could not be substantiated.
Back to Hostas and thanks to Mary for allowing "fair use" of the picture of Lakeside Premier. She/he/it is a beauty!
