oh, right. more tears.  just what i need.  it hit me this morning that this would be my last spring to see and hear the chicks hatch in the window boxes here by the pc.  i've got four hens laying on eggs outside the window now, the first batch should start hatching in about 2 weeks.  sniff.  thanks but i'll pass on this one.
