Re: Spring-APHIDS

Hello Friends,
The post I sent regarding aphids included an effective mixture. I
received this information from the shadegarden group last February 18,1998.
It was originally sent by Sherryl Sandersfeld....." My solution is to spray
with a solution of 2 tblsp Ivory Liquid (dish washing soap) and 2 tblsp
vegetable oil per gallon of water"....." I repeat spraying each 2-3 days for
a couple weeks. These
applications have completely eliminated heavy infestations for me."
Over the next few days, several posts followed agreeing with her.
I made a weaker mixture, which I stated earlier. You are welcome to try
either.
     Ron
