Frances,
15 or 20 years ago my father had DMSO he bought to self treat his
arthritis. If you get DMSO on your skin you will have an onion like
taste in your mouth in 30 seconds or so. Most chemicals will dissolve in
DMSO and would carried throughout your body just as quickly. I remember
it was used on race horses in the 70's and may still be in use today.
Papa eventually got the right ratio of DMSO to snake oil and lived
happily ever after.
