Hey Diann-
You know what.... Mine too. Is just now breaking
ground. I'd say that the leaves are just about 2"
up. As is my Robert Frost, those leaves are up just
an inch, and a couple of others. I am suprised &
unsure of why these late budders are just soooo late.

Michael, I have a Lakeside Black Satin that JUST showed it's shoot 3-4
days
ago here in zone 5b. The other Lakeside Black Satin I have are about
4-5"
tall now. This is definitely the latest arrival of any hosta in my
gardens.
(I'll confess, I dug this thing up a couple weeks ago to see what was
happening.)
