RE: Lost Hosta

Mary-

Typo on my part I apologize for not immediately
correcting it. I had lost both Lakeside Black Satin
and Kiwi Black Magic.

Sorry again for the confusion.

I have never heard of a hosta named Lakeside Black Magic. Do you know
who
developed it?

I'm in zone 5a. The vast majority of
hosta that I didn't loose are very very
leaved out now. Just a few for some odd
reason are being... shy, so to speak.
They are also lacking their usual vigour.
I am assumin' that they are fighting some
thing off.

That's interesting, Mike. My Robert Frost is as big right now as it ever
got
last year--at least 15" high and 24" wide; it's 2 years in my garden
this
year, the Black Satin was probably planted here last year. What's the
Milwaukee zone?
