Hi Narda,
I hadn't heard of bind weed either so last year I snapped a pic of it.  It is 
attached here. The one that was pointed out to me was pink with white bands 
in the flower. It was climbing a chain link fence and was really kind of 
pretty but I was told that the roots will wrap around other plants and kill 
Is this what it looks like, Bug Girl?
