Brown spots on 'Sagae

Ken and all,

My pond where the sagae is planted is mostly in the shade.  It might get
a couple of hours of filtered sun late morning.  I noticed your post
about your sagae.  You said they looked like pin holes with brown around
them.  That's exactly what mine look like.  What's going on here?
