Briard-hosta,
H. 'Fringe Benefit' is an older variety that is medium size, a good solid
landscape plant that does not grow too fast, but will survive for me in
difficult situations.
All of this is in my conditions: zone 5, deep to moderate shade, 20 plus "
rainfall, dry conditions sometimes (where they are planted, competing with oak
tree roots).
