My theory is that "OS" is a terribly misleading designation. All TC'd plants
of an extant plant are "OS." Now, 'June' , for example, comes from TC---but
isn't it also OS?
Some people like to get plants from hybridizer X from the original plant. Just
put on label "x X" .
I simply cannot understand why a plant designated as "OS" sells for much more
than it is worth.
