Hi Glen,
My H. 'Aristocrat' is three years old and has both of the leaf types you
described. H. Aristocrat is a sport of H. 'Hadspen Blue' found in tissue
culture. There is a photo on page 106 of the latest AHS Journal.
BTW my dog Rascal was a Malamute. I never did catch him laying on a hosta as
in your cartoon.
When you said you received H. 'Aristocrat' as a TC seedling I think you
meant TC liner.
