scapes already?

Have just come home to cruise the hosta beds. Could not believe that
'Blue Seer' and 'Gum Drop' have scapes already up with buds! Both plants
were wintered over in pots, which undoubted put them about a month ahead
of their normal emergence. Talk about getting out of the ground and
getting into the reproductive phase quickly.
