I know counting is difficult ........, but I measured the seedweight of
handpollinated pycnophylla collected in my garden
I collected seed 53 days after pollination and 80 days after
pollination. Those of 80 days had a more than twice higher seed
weight. This clearly indicates that at least with my temps seeds
are nowhere ripe after 57 days. Important question How is
germination?
