You really need to change your political party affiliation back to
Democratic, or maybe the Green Party, although I think the Socialist
Party might be better. Come to think about it, the Democratic Party
is the Socialist Party, so you will pretty much get what you want with
them.
The problem is that you are listening to too much Democratic
propaganda. Can you name one Republican who has said they want dirty
air and undinkable water? Do we need to protect the environment? The
answer is yes. But I don't see why you think it can only be done with
Democratics in power. You do realize that when companies and
corporations are excessively taxed that that is money being taken away
from those companies that could otherwise go to research and
development and implementation of pollution control! If you want to
end pollution then you are going to have to give companies the money
to get the job done - that means letting companies and corporations
keep more of their hard earned money - that means tax reduction.
Reducing taxes, unfortunatelly is an oxymoron to Democrats.
A request to all who are responding to this tread. Someone sent an
attachment to a message that is being replied to, and in digest form
this attachment is showing up as a huge amount of gibbish and being
repeated 3 or 4 times in each digest. When replying to a message it
is only necessary to quote the pertinent material. It's really not
necessaary to send the whole message you are responding to, especially
considering some of these messages are being sent in html format which
means there are two copies of the message, one in regualr form that
those using html email programs don't see, but those of us using ASCII
email program do see the html versions with all their coding.
