Tree root competition and hostas

Arnhild,
There was a fellow who use to maintain a web page all about trees and their roots. Here is the link....but it doesn't work any longer. http://www.hostaenvironment.com/
 
If anyone out there knows who this person is...or where his web site is now...please let us know. This web site contained the most complete information on tree roots and tree root competition that I've ever seen.
