Hi Guys:

Have seen the New HJ and I like it a lot. Once again I think Kevin, Clyde,
and a lot of other people deserve credit for the quality of our current
Journal. They set standards, and Bob has responded in kind. Bob Olson's
slant is different than Kevin's, and his was different than Clyde's.......
I am not sure you can argue that one has been better than another, but
certainly the standards that Bob has responded to, continue the quality we
have come to expect.

I would wager you that George Schmid is going to be having a lot of e-mails
regarding H. 'Gosan Line Up'.

There is a wonderful article on the sports of H. 'Sum and
Substance'....with great pictures....a practical Latin Lesson, and a great
new concept to aid in reading the more esoteric botanical articles. So much
good stuff for a wretched NOVEMBER.

Here in Vermont I now have a layer of snow, a layer of leaves, another
layer of snow, more leaves and the promise of snow today. Back to THJ.
