Virus?

Hi to all:

I was looking through the hosta library, and I came across the following 
hosta: 'Lunacy', 'Filigree Sister', 'Fuzzy', 'Korean Snow', 'Allegan Fog', 
and 'Alley Oop'.  They all have green spotting in there leaves.  Do you or 
anyone know the lineage of any of these?  Is there a commonality of parent to 
all? Or could it be a virus?  Has there, to your knowledge, been any breeding 
with any of these?  If so, do the progeny show similar characteristics?
