Well, Chick, if this is a joke, it's really gone over the cliff and needed a hundred emoticons!  If not, it's the absolute nastiest flame I've ever seen on a gardening listserv--and pretty immature!  So not "knowing"you, I'll hope you aren't aware that because people can't see your face or hear your voice in order to interpret an immense tongue-in-cheek outrage...er, message, this needed a clearer signal of intent.
 
I haven't been on Hosta Phoenix, but why don't we replicate here what folks are so unhappy to be missing there?  What's so unique and great about it?  Perhaps we could send out an invite email to that list (it will be the sender's last hurrah there, no doubt!).

My guess is that it's because you're always whining, criticizing, complaining, bitching and in general, just not a very pleasant person.  But that's just a guess.

And I think it's a very healthy thing that you are finally starting to think about why people don't care for you.
