RE: Slug Eggs


I have found it takes a lot less time to spray with a 10% ammonia spray. It
does not hurt the hostas and is devastating to the slugs. I'm not sure how
this would work on slug eggs, but slug eggs are eating your hostas. I
suggest early season ammonia sprays at night.

Beth, thanks for replying. The problem is that my garden is
pretty huge. Hand picking and hand crushing the eggs is not
really an option. :-(
