hybridizing question

I have a question concerning crossing. Lets say I wanted to try and get
a larger Montana, so I decided to cross it with Sum and substance. Do I
pollonate montana with Sum and Sub or Sum and Sub with Montana? Or both?
Do you get better results going one way or another? Or does it fall on
luck?
