Ray, my bright gold ventricosa 'Crystal Fountain' started out as a streaked
but stabilized as all gold - very stable and vigorous grower now. None of the
seed from it come gold or streaked! all green Bruce Banyai
H. 'Crystal Fountain' that's one that is not in the Hosta Library yet. I
would like to see a picture of a bright yellow ventricosa.
From what I am hearing, it doesn't sound very promising that I would get any
variegated seedlings from my slightly splashed seedling. I think I will just
separate the splashed division and hope for more splashing next year, knowing
it may come up all green. Thanks to all who shared their thoughts.
