Robins,
I am well aware that any conflict between two people on a personal basis
is an attempt by one to gain control over the other. It is like an
attempt to "steal" energy from the other person. The stronger of the
two ...the one who interrupts, won't listen to the other, yells louder,
more often, with worse names and other well know tactics , most often
comes off the winner, in possession of his own psychic energy and that
of his opponent as well. The loser has had his energy "sucked" away from
him. He feels weak, defeated, humiliated, while the winner , the one who
has extracted the other's energy, feels like a conquering hero, proud,
puffed up and energized. This concept is described well in "The
Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield..a recent Best Seller
To be aware of what is happening is to be wize. It is also wize NOT to
participate in such egoistic confrontations. It is wize to be aware
and not become involved in such personal attacks.
To shut the self-defense door in the face of a suction machine is
another matter...and is allowed in my book.
