'Karoo Pride'

Hi everyone-

I'm looking for information on 'Karoo Pride', a hybrid developed and
introduced by Ernie deMarie.  I have seen it listed as P.sericifolium x
P.hystrix  and as P.hystrix x P.sericifolium. If, as I've read, it is
standard convention to list the seed parent first, I'm confused. Does anyone
know which species is the seed parent of this hybrid?
