Sandy,

  I use a spray called 1600 X-clude.  I ordered it through Gardens Alive
catalog.  It is a timed release pyrethrum.  I don't like using pesticides
either but this works and I don't have to use it that often.  I would also be
interested in any other ideas to control the fungus gnats.
