If this is from Stegmeier, it looks as if someone's leg is being pulled:
"di" = Italian "of," "meier" = (Steg)meier, add a couple "ii's" for a
Latin look, and
voila, you have P. dimeierii (a Pelargonium--'apricot'--from (Steg)meier).
Pretty neat, but a joke, I assume.
