I live in California USA and grow my P. abrontanifolium out doors on the East
side of my house in a pot.  I water when almost dry.  I only move it if a
freeze is due.  I prune a little in the spring.  Well draining planting mix.
It gets a lot of heat in the summer but no direct sun after 2PM at let
latesst when it is in the shade.  Bill Lemke
