Hybridizing

Cindi,
Brian West on the Isle of Wight, UK, takes the floret and pull the
petals back and swishes the pollen on the receptive "mother" floret.  He
hangs little tags from them and keeps meticulous records.

Re color coming from seed bearing or pollen bearing plant, I don't know
and hope someone will put that information out.
