Tobacco bud worm

Hello to my new friends here. During the winter (rainy season) months
here in Southern California, this noxious pest is not a problem, only
during the spring and summer months.

I have not yet found anything that really works to eradicate this pest,
without damaging my geraniums. Suggestions?

p.s. I had planned to attend the Los Angeles meeting of the society next
week, but work will, unfortunately, take me out of town.
