Daylilies for Shade, Favourite Daylilies?

Hi!  I garden just outside of Montreal, Quebec (Canada) on about 9300
sq.ft. of land.  After four years, we have completed the landscaping in
the front of the house (not room for one more plant, I've tried!) and will be
starting on the backyard over the next few years.  We plan to build a
small pond in the backyard.  I am especially interested in planting many
types of lilies (daylilies, orientals, asiatics) and hosta in the backyard. I
would like to know if anyone can recommend daylilies that can do well in
full shade (if there are any) and along the pond (which will be in sun
about half of the day).  Also, what is everyone's favourite daylily?  I am
just starting to collect, so I don't have a favourite yet, but would love to
hear which ones everyone recommends!  I especially love taller varieties.
