Re: Day Lily Questions

I have always heard that day-lilies are so named because the flowers only 
last one day. I have had people tell me otherwise, but I always assume they 
are confused because they are people who don't know one lily from another.  
Oriental and Asiatic lilies may last 5-6 days, but not daylilies.  I'd be 
happy to be corrected if I'm wrong!
