Re: I'm here and minis


Thanks for reminding me, Lisa -- I've been meaning to post to the group
to comment that most of the lateblooming daylilies I've seen recently
have had blooms very low in the foliage, some only an inch or two above
ground.  I wondered if it could be the lack of rain we've had in the
midwest?  Since we're pretty religious about watering, my own few late
bloomers are at normal height so far.

I agree about Stella d'Oro -- and mine doesn't repeat bloom all that
well, either!  I took half the clumps out last year and am thinking
about replacing some of the ones that are left.  Have you tried Happy
Returns? A prettier light yellow (IMO), somewhat larger flower, seems to
rebloom more consistently.  Little Wine Cup is also nice. Any other late
or reblooming minis you all can recommend?  I'd like a pale pink or
lavendar -- doesn't have to be a mini necessarily.
