Re: [ENABLED]

hi back to you diane, i am located in southwest georgia in a town called
sale city, population approximately 412. we only have one street with
sidewalks(i live on this street) and no caution or stop lights. it is a
nice quiet farming community. there is a peanut mill located here and a
couple of stores. i planted my daffodil bulbs a few weeks ago as well as
the freesia and about 50 amaryllis bulbs. i have saved some to plant
later so i will have late bloomers. we should be having cold weather, but
are having rain and mild temperatures.. i had a picket fence build in
november and have been unable to have it painted because of the weather.
i so want to plant hollyhocks behind it and dahlias and marigolds in front
of it. i am going to wait until late march or april before preparing my
seed bbeds. what type of flowers do you plant in the mojave? i once
lived in california for a couple of years. one of my favorite places was
the desert. some think it is desolate, but i found it beautiful. at that
time i was sighted. one of the most beautiful states i saw was northern
utah with its mesas. we have much vegetation here with many pines and oak
trees. i have a dogwood tree which is beautiful in the spring and i also
have crepe myrtles which are beautiful in the summer. i have tried my
luck with gardenias andcamellias, but have had no luck. i do better with
flowers rather than bushes. this year i plan on planting a cojuple of
peach trees and plum trees and maybe two or three grape vines. i am about
an hour and a half from the florida state line. my daughter lives only a
few miles from there. enough for now. hope to hear from you again soon.
