Re: [ENABLED] strawberries
maryann, so nice to hear from you. i do not know a thing about raising
strawberries in jars, but would like to learn also. i have a large
strawberry pot in the yard, but have never planted strawbverries in it as
i usually fill it with flowers. i heard a newscast from the albany,
georgia nbc affiliate this week about strawberries being produced here
this early. they stated that because of the extremely warm temperatures
we are having this winter that the strawberries began producing early and
would contiue to produce and the georgia farmers will have a long growing
season. one gentleman they interviewed went to the producer twice a day
and bought them to take to interstate 75 and sell to the tourist. maybe
they will be cheaper in the stores now.
i will be looking for info about growing strawberries in jars - should i
find it, i will send it on.
