Hi:

Strawberry jars make easy container gardens for herbs or even strawberries.
If you use one, I suggest you put a plastic pipe which has holes punched in
it down the middle.  Then when you water, direct it into the pipe.  This
allows deep watering that doesn't just run out the sides.
