Subject: Flowering ground cover/shaded area, root bound-Florida
Q. J.B. Young wrote: Condominium entry new landscaping - need

A. Try Vinca, also called periwinkle or myrtle - that will do great
anywhere, and can even become invasive. Also try violets, ajuga, pansies,
impatiens, lobelia, and small saxifrages. You may need to clip a few of
the smaller oak roots if there's really no room to even get a trowel in
there, but try these and see what happens. Good luck! 8-)
