Sorry but I don't have any ideas for you as I live in Wisconsin.
But love your choice of flowers!! And very envious of you moving
to a climate where you can garden year round. :o)
Will you be moving into a home or condo? Perhaps your interest in gardening
will be a good way to make new friends.
