Note: I haven't seen my post on this list, so thought I'd send it out
again. Would someone be so kind as to tell me if it gets posted?
Thank you... AMARIS

Hi... I, too, am new and hoping for an active and informative
discussion here on one of my favorite subjects.

I have a weak left arm/strong hand and almost non-functioning right
arm with a weak right hand. I mobilize via a powerchair. All the
result of polio in infancy and now, post-polio syndrome.

I have a front yard I've never measured, with flower beds bordering
the front of the porch and house. The back yard, which I also have
never measured, is twice as large and I have a raised garden
(approximarely 6' X 5') and about 10' feet of flowerbed along a fence
that I have been nurturing with compost for a couple of years.

I am VERY low-income, but I don't believe in chemicals and exotic
plants anyway. I look for native plants and concentrate on
propagation.

Oh, I live in Mid-Oregon...U.S.A.. where the climate is mild with
little snow and few days of freezing temps in winter months, and
perhaps a week of 90+ degree temps in summer months.

I love it where I am. I love my house and my property. I live alone
with my eight-year-old shetland sheepdog, Goldi.

I'm happy to make your acquaintance. ... AMARIS
