Re: [ENABLED] Introduction

I'm AMARIS in Eugene, Oregon, and this summer has not been good for Oregon
gardeners. It rained all Spring and cooked all Summer. I planted tomatos,
cherry tomatos, and cucumbers, and had Egyptian onions that I planted last year
that did pretty well (they were a gift and I didn't know too much about them,
so didn't harvest properly.

Most of my tomatos and cucumbers never did completely ripen.

I have a raised garden and work in it from a powerchair. My
nsighbor across the street gifted me with a hoe that he designed several
years ago. It's narrower than an ordinary hoe and has a shorter handle. I like
it very much, but have to figure out some way to make it easier on my hands,
probably a good pair of gloves would do the trick.

I'm hoping for a better gardening season next summer because I want to plan to
put away for the possibility of food shortages resulting from computer failures
due to the change of millenium. Is anyone here thinking about that? Do you
think we should be thinking about that?

And, how was your gardening season?

AMARIS
