List being discontinued

Hi:

Due to the low level of response to this list, I have asked to
have it discontinued.  Future welcome messages will note that it
is discontinued and refer potential list members to my new email
list about plants as therapy.

Since I am deeply interested in horticulture therapy, I've
created a new list called plantsastherapy@onelist.com.  To
subscribe, go to:

It is my hope that linking this email list directly to my
suite101 column and using a more descriptive name will attract
people and allow some good conversations to get started.

Being at onelist-com also gives me more control over the list
such as linking it to websites, etc.

I would like to accomplish several things with this new list.
First, gather a list of garden related sites managed by disabled
gardeners.  Second, develop a forum for employed horticulture
therapists to interact with disabled gardeners on-line (this will
take some linking up to other hort therapy related sites--if you
happen to know of some, please let me know asap so I can tell
them about this new list and seek a link to it at their
website).  Third, provide a forum for the disabled to come share
their concern and ask advice.  Fourth, I hope list members will
feel free to submit suggestions for future columns at suite101.

Please go to the website identified above and subscribe to the
new list if you are serious about this subject matter.  Maybe the
new name will make the subject matter clearer to potential new
subscribers.
