My calla lillies have sprouted!  They will be under grow lights until the
risk of frost if over. (unless someone tells me they can go out sooner).
The May long weekend is usually "planting-out weekend" in this area.  They
were put in a  pot on March 31.

One of my favorite mail ordering places is Richters herbs (mmmm scented
geraniums!).  www.richters.com  They are Canadian and I believe they ship to
the  US.

Never NEVER order from Rockwood Gardens (or the parent company Michigan Bulb
Company).  I know several people who ordered from them, and none that were
happy.

My favorites for outdoor gardening are Vesey's (www.veseys.com) and Stokes.
There are several that specialize in bulbs too, but the only name I can
remember is GardenImport.
