Helga is right about the African violet.
It may not be too late to get your Christmas and Easter cactus to bloom this
spring if it stays cool. They both need cool, dry conditions and short days
of 12 hours or less until the buds appear. Dry seems to be necesssary but
either coolor short days works. My Easter cactus have set buds only where
the leaves wwre against the cold glass but receiving 16 hours of light. The
Xmas onebllomed under teh same lights with night temps down to about 60F.
ALl were allowed to dry out completely between thorough waterings.
