I have tried to the grow grocery variety of ginger in a pot, It sprouted and
did well, and then it just withered and died. I think I started it at the
wrong time of year and I will try again this spring. I would be very
interested in your results, so please let me know how your plants progress.
The ginger plants have such pretty flowers.
I am new to the group and live in southern California. I have (in the past
hybridized miniature roses), but now I live in a Condo and grow mostly
Indoor house plants and container plants (on the balcony). Which is a
different way of growing altogether.
