[INDOOR-GARDENING:358] Re: Root pruning a parlor palm
Hi everyone!
I have a parlor palm that's several years old, and is about 2 1/2'
high. Through the years, many of the lower fronds have broken off, and
the plant has a very long neck.
I really don't have the room to repot the palm into a larger pot, so I
was wondering if I could prune the roots a bit and re-pot it in a pot
around the same size, and cover some of the neck up.
However, I've heard that palms have brittle roots and don't re-pot or
transplant well, so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
