Liz,
I know what you mean! I got my first abutilon 1 1/2 years ago at a
flower show (abutilon pictum 'Thomsanii'). It did so well, blooming
almost continuously, that I've since bought 3 others (a. Logee's Old
Rose Belle, a. megapotamicum 'variegatum', and a. 'Moonchimes') and I
plan to get more. Except for the first one, I've been getting mine from
Logee's (www.logees.com) which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from where I
live. Their catelog lists 13 varieties. Like you, the problem is
finding room for them when I have to them (along with many other
houseplants including Streletzia, anthurium, spathophyllum and banana)
into the house for the winter.
