Batya, 
Are you rooting in water? Soil? Soilless mix?

I root mine in Promix (a soilless greenhouse mix) mixed about 50:50 with
perlite. I do use rootone..One the leaves are struck I let the pots dry
down somewhat before rewatering, so the soil is not too wet. I also give
the leaves considerable light, either GroLites or East or south-facing
window...The process takes a long time but results in *lots* of plantlets.
