What's happening in Pennsylvania

Well, all my craft shows are over for the year & after I catch up on
some much-needed rest, I will venture into the greenhouse & do some
repotting. Epiphyllum chrysotoxicum bloomed for me in November-December
with 3 HUGE white fragrant night-opening dinnerplate sized blooms. My
cigarette plant (forgot the scientific name for this one), is blooming
"to beat the band" and throwing off seeds all over so there are little
plants growing & blooming everywhere. One of these days, I'm gonna dig
them up & put them all in one pot. Passiflora citrina has been blooming
non-stop all autumn and believe it or not, I had a water hyacinth (which
I winter over in the greenhouse in buckets of water), bloom and also
Hyacinth Bean (Dolichos lablab) is blooming (& setting seeds? How? Who
is the pollenator?). It might be cold & raw outside but in my
greenhouse, there is perpetual spring. You can see some of this beauty
at my website: http://www.epix.net/~jshowers

Have a green holiday, Judy Showers (Pennsylvania zone 6)
