Ack there went my message width again.
Anyway, (chorus) Hiiii Bill!
I wish I had a growing season as long as yours! Here in Saskatoon we
traditionally plant on May 24th, and the first frost is Sept. 15th.
Being in zone 2b makes gardening a bit difficult, but does allow for
lots of time to care for plants indoors. I've tried growing scented
geraniums without much success, probably due to insufficient light.
What's a 'root beer plant'? Sounds fun. I grow mostly gesneriads
and am sloooowly expanding my collection into orchids and more
unusual plants. Just joined the AGGS in fact, and am wondering how I'm
going to manage the packet of free seed they sent. I always have problems
with small seed.
Happy growing,
Ivy
