Sydney's Crocosmia

Hi Lola. I really don't know much about the corms. And I don't do a
thing except remember to water on occassion. Tough plants! Fertilized
once last year when I thought about it and was feeding all anyway.

They probably do need a few years to establish and reach a mature size.
Being in California, this is the time of year for them to bloom. Later
they will die back and I'll cut them off ... store them dry until I
remember them next year and again add water. Only a few days later and
up they come.

I'm sure a mail order nursery that sells them can give you proper
growing instruction. I go on the theory that if a plant wants to live
with me, that's just great. But if it dies, wasn't meant to be.
I have the same theory for washing machines and the dishwasher too!
